The good news is that both teams have kept there places in Hants Div 2 and 4 respectively thanks to strong end of season performances and a slight re-org of the Hants ladies League at the recent AGM !

12 Apr 2010 : AFHC 1st ever Charity Golf Day 8th August - Please see posting in General Forum for details
All details in the forum but basically its this.
Phil Austen Jones wife Rach, as some may know, was diagnosed with severe epilepsy after the birth of their child a couple of years ago. Thankfully, things are a little less fraught at the Austen Jones household these days but Phil would like to give something back to the charities that helped them through some very tough times. And a Charity golf day is a great way of doing this. Open to all, although it may help if you have actually played some form of golf before :-). I didn't say you had to be any good but at least knowing what a golf club is may help.
There is a posting in the forum, so please read this and then reply to the posting so we can gauge numbers.
Thanks all.
04 Mar 2010 : AFHC collecting Sainsbury's Active Kids vouchers
AFHC are now participating in the Sainsbury's Active Kids scheme. Last chance to get them in to us at Wed Summer League nights to Edge...
01 Aug 2009 : AFHC gets ClubsFirst!
As you must know by now if you have got this far through the website, last April we achieved England Hockey's ClubsFirst accreditation.
This is a huge positive step for the club in assuring that we provide a safe, effective and child friendly hockey environment.
It is the "kite mark" for sports organisations.
There are way too many people to thank who helped make sure this happened, but if I have name names, I would especially like to thank Mark Edgely, Vickey Livermore and Sarah 'Rosie' Rosewell who are the ClubsFirst Three! Without their hard work and constant nagging this would never have happened. Also, Annie and Geoff Smith who have grown the Youth Academy into one of, if not the, best in the area. I'd also like to thank past committees who had the foresight to start us on this process many seasons ago.
Although this is a major milestone, the work does not stop here. We must maintain standards we have achieved and follow through on our club development plan over the next few seasons.
Anyone willing to help out with the Youth Academy or extending their playing skills to coaching or umpiring or even some admin role, please let me know.
Cheers and well done all.
