Match Report - 12 Dec 2009, Aldershot and Farnham Hockey Club Mens 3 beat Blandford 2
Last game before xmas and AF3 wanted to end on a high. Pitched against decent midfield opposition in the form of Blandford, we expected a tough game and were prepared to really dig in. So we hit them really hard in the first 10, set the tempo of the game and Blandford were just never able to get any purchase on the game.
Issac Gladman opened the scoring midway thru the first half and that set the seen. The rest I cannot remember but well done all.
MOM went to Lovey although it could have been anyone in defence and the sweaty thong went to Jesus ( because ...... ???? )
One does wonde3r how a team score 7 goals and the MOM goes to a defender, whereas we lose by the same score and MOM still goes to a defender. Capt Budd was mort dischuffed that he didnt pick up the award.

Issac was Glad he played. Great opening goal. Followed up a Tubs strike, got the rebound, calmly pulled it back fromt eh outstreched keeper and calmly netted high.
