Match Report - 26 Sep 2009, Aldershot and Farnham Hockey Club Ladies 2 lost to Southhampton 3
At first we seemed evenly matched and managed to create a short corner that Nic Cusack slipped to Amy Matthews on the left who sweeped it into the right corner (an attempt at a poach was involved at this point, albeit unsuccessful by Vicki Livermore!). However this was to be the only short for AFHC as Southampton dug there heels in and picked up the pace, managing to follow up two saves by Daisy Mckay by half time. The second half we managed to make some great runs down the right although nothing was to come of these. Southampton were quick to every ball and eventually got their third goal. Great effort all round on pitch, not as satisfying teas as initially hoped.
