Match Report - 23 Jan 2010, Aldershot and Farnham Hockey Club Ladies 2 lost to Romsey
First game back after Christmas was tough. Romsey were strong all over the pitch and had obviously had been back in the swing of things longer than we had. However, we had some great spells of possession and a few decent opportunities to score, especially in the second half. Cusie's shot into the left hand corner was inches wide, I should have made greater use of the opportunities that came to the left post and Helen Kenna also made their goal keeper work, but it was not to be. Nevertheless, it's an awful lot better than 9.1. Thanks to Gill for her fantastic efforts in goal, as well as Julie, Di, Emily and Harry who were playing their second game.
