Firstly, well done to all the girls who played in today's matches. For most of you it was your first U12 league match and Adam and I were super impressed by how well you all did. I bet you will sleep well tonight! A fantastic first 2-0 win against Winchester with some beautiful shape and lovely hockey on display and amazing saves by Zara. The second match back to back with the first was a tough ask for tired legs and although the team battled well with all players contributing, fitness and strength did tell, and they unfortunately won that one 5-1. However, the goal we scored was a beautiful piece of well worked hockey with contributions from some of our younger and newer players. Well done! I think what was particularly pleasing was how well you all worked together and fought for each other. Some things to work on in training but for a first outing in the Hampshire U12 league, a really good showing. You should all be very proud. We look forward to seeing you on Monday night for training.
