On this unusually fine sunny (some might even say balmy!) afternoon AFHC U12 boys Hawks took to the pitch to play two matches, the first against Alton and the second against Yateley.
These were both pretty exciting matches with the boys really coming together for some beautiful team goals. Some were even like you practice in training! For example a lovely cross from Jay to Alex who chipped it onto Seamus who finished it into the back of the net.
Other highlights were some lovely runs up the wing by Rufus, tackling by Stanley, great defending by Sammy and Jack taking control of the goal. Strong play by Alton meant the Hawks had to work hard!

Versus Yateley, we got off to a rockier start with Yateley scoring off a couple of short corners. There was some fantastic defending by Mason and Zack and lovely runs down the wing from Jay and a near miss by Alex and another near miss by Jay off a short. Jay managed a run down the wing to cross it to Alex who lobbed it into the top corner. In the second half we upped the ante and there was a lovely one twos between Alex and Sammy but we couldn't quite finish it.
