Our U14 Boys had a really competitive match against Alton on a bright sunny Sunday, perfect for hockey.

Our visitors had some strong players and they started quickly, with Shots finding themselves 3:0 down after the first quarter.

However, we played some great hockey from then on in, and dominated for much of the match. Unfortunately we only managed to pull one goal back, after some great solo work by Adrian in the D, but our build up play throughout deserved more.

It was a great show from all the boys, who pushed and persisted until the final whistle. Particular shout outs to our new recruits James and Fraser, who slotted in brilliantly and had great games.

Well done everyone and congrats to Adrian for being voted MOM. After two really promising performances at this level, the wins we deserve won’t be far away.
