Great efforts all round for the first match of the season, and in particular by our youngsters. Although a loss, goals by Martin David and Harry Malins made it a respectable results. A solid foundation to move onto th first league game against Winchester, a week next Saturday.

Thanks everyone for playing today, it's been fun despite the score.
Regarding the game, great play for first 15 ( will forget the next part when 3 goals went in , apologies!! I'm sure I had a few problems with people's names! )
Then straight to the good stuff, slight reshuffle resulting in great passing, tackling and composure on the ball resulting in 2 goals thanks to the kids for enabling this.
Must say a special thanks to Chris, Tom and Aiden for helping us after a trying game before really appreciated !!
Unfortunately the ageing opposition of Yately ( who I've played against half the team many years ago, excluding the new youngsters) utilising their experience with a 6-2 win.
Looking forward to playing with the youngsters ( as much as I can), and getting to know the future faces of the club.
